New words are added regularly.
- Glossary - A Glossary is a list of often difficult or specialized words with their definitions.
- Attachment - a file "attached" to an email. These may contain Email worms or Viruses. Never EXECUTE an attachment unless your are 100% sure you know what it is.
- Browser - a piece of software that allows you to view the World Wide Web. Examples are Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- Dialer - a piece of software that allows you to access a site via a cost per/minute phone line.
- JPEG - an image(picture) format used thoughout the World Wide Web.
- GIF - an image(picture) format used thoughout the World Wide Web.
